Retirement

At the rate technology is advancing, we will soon have computers capable of creating patents and discovering new theorems faster than humans have the ability to comprehend them. I know we are headed in this direction because even now almost everyone accepts the world as magic, there are few people left who wish to comprehend how the devices and technology we use daily even works, and these technologies are still created by humans. We are a long way from creating any type of sentient machine, yet when no human understands the technology that was created by machines, haven’t we become their slave none the less? Despite the fact that the machine has no concept of power or slavery, but is merely a massive and complex pocket calculator. 

I don’t know, but this is terrifying to me. Become an engineer and free your mind.
